Fletching Glasshouses

Fletching Glasshouses specialise in affordable fresh local organic vegetables for you. An Organic nursery with 2 Acres under glass at Fletching Common near Newick, Sussex. You will find a wide range of vegetables and herbs available. As well as the usual beans, leaves, lettuce, beetroot and celery they grow some more unusual vegetables such as aubergines and sweet potatoes.

The land is particularly suitable for growing leaves and you will find a good availability of Chard, Mixed Salad Leaves and Mixed stir-fry leaves.

Stanmer Comunity Garden Group

Colin at Stanmer Comunity Garden Group has supplied for top restaurants in Brighton such as Terre a Terre. She also regularly supplies us with her produce. Herb bunches, rhubarb, apples, grapes, salad bags. She is currently preparing Bouquet Garni for our Christmas boxes

South Brockwells Farm

Aaron and Chrissy at South Brockwell's farm near Newick has provided us with fantastic fresh asparagus during the season May- July. Often it is harvested in the morning, picked up at lunchtime and delivered in the boxes that evening. It's hard to get fresher than that!

Roots to Growth Washington

Zoe took over the running of Rock farm near Washington from Growing Together in late 2013. She continues to use the land to help the disadvantaged gain work experience as well as offering people the chance to work in the fresh Sussex country air. She has supplied us with Runner and 'Mile long' beans, tomatoes and some fantastic summer fruit punnets, filled with black currants, red currants, raspberries and blackberries.

 

 

Phil Maddison in Aldbourne

We first contacted Phil when we heard he was growing garlic near Albourne. Unfortunately, this years crop failed but he has provided us with his unsprayed onion and butternut squash which both taste fantastic.

 

Macs Farm Ditchling

Danny and Suzie Supply us with their delicious eggs. Suzie's dad was one of the first Free range, organic chicken farmers in Britain and Suzie now looks after the farm.

Malcolm Mc George @ Greenfields Plumpton Green

Malcolm farms alongside Noannah at Nolands farm. He has supplied us with Chard, and spaghetti squash.

Graham Love Greenways Farm Hurstmonceux

Graham supplies us from his fruit farm in Herstmonceux. He has an amazing variety of apples including, Cox, Braeburn, Gala, Russet, Bramley and some lesser known Fuji, Elstar, Pinover, Red Prince. The boxes are a fantastic way to get a taste of all these varieties.

 

Noannah Hall at Nolands Farm Plumpton Green

Noannah has supplied us with Spinach, squash, leeks and is well known locally for her tasty carrots If only she grew a few more!

Watsbourne Manor Farm Fletching

Jean at Watsbourne Manor Farm near Newick used to farm organically. As part of their diversification, they turned some land over to camping ground. That has become their main business so the cost of organic registration for the small amount of growing they do became prohibitive. Now farming, using the same methods, Jean provides us with some of her unsprayed sweetcorn.
